Well, I predictably fell behind. Going to combine a few days to make up for it. Here's day 7 and day 8, combining Mercy & Resolve.

Catharina Donum-Cordis is fresh out of apprenticeship, a maga of House Ex Miscellanea in the tradition of the Donatores Requietis Aeternae - the Givers of Eternal Rest. This tradition is formed of Christian magi devoted to putting down the restless dead, especially ghosts - typically by kinder means than simply destroying them with magic. The Donatores prefer to resolve whatever unfinished business binds the dead to the world, and so help them to move on. They possess an ability called Banishing, and the study of this has left Catharina's regular Hermetic magic somewhat lacking compared to most young magi.

She is haunted by what she believes to be the ghost of an old friend, a Tytalus apprentice who died before their Gauntlet. In fact, this is a demon who delights in tormenting the pious Catherina. She has recently come into possession of a relic, a finger bone of St Odilo, by which she hopes the saint will guide her in her combined magical-religious vocation.
